Well since I believe the body needs at least some sort of meat, no.
Some are, some aren't. There are aspects of one's personal health that could probably be improved by having a higher vegetable content in one's diet. And I can't say that the availability of cheap meat is all that helpful environmentally (or for the animals). I'd rather water use was properly priced in for example and there were fewer subsidies for water and feed used by governments, even if it means higher priced meat and less of it eaten.
Still: bacon.
No.
In my not-so-humble opinion, vegetables is what food eats. ^_^ B)
Exactly. I'm a meatitarian.
Well if we only included the people who are vegetarians to lower their cholesterol, then then answer would be yes. There are however a lot of (shall we say) "religiously inspired" vegetarians who do it for none health reasons or for supposed health reasons that aren't actually a good idea (see raw-foodists.) There does however appear to be some real health benefits to avoiding meat when you're fully developed and not nursing. So if you want to go vegetarian for health reasons, then do your research and wait till you hit 30 first.
meat is not the problem, its calories. people think that fat is also a problem, thats actually not the case, the body needs fat.
and to all vegetarians out there; my food shits on your food.
i think it depends on the person and everyone should develop her or his own diet the helps them the most so i dont really care if you are or arent but i tried it for two months and i felt awesome but it was a huge hassel
