In a word, NO. Everyone talks about the weather and overhypes it….it's a lot like fishing stories….
Well I'm from New York City and the weather is getting crazy over here. High temperatures and unexpected temperature changes are a major problem. I think something is up.
Do you think it is an anti-Obama conspiracy run by those nasty mean spirited Conservatives who do not believe in Al Huggatree Gore's "Convenient Lie" movie?(like me)
Or could it be the normal course of how weather is just not predictable and never will be?
Just asking.
Being a guy who upon occasion likes to go out into the ocean in a fairly small sail boat, I took many a weather class, almost enough to become a meteorologist.
What did I learn? Other than to recognize certain changes in weather patterns, I learned that weather is, has been, and always will be unpredictable. Pure and simple.
Should we be concerned about it? Why? There ain't nothing we can do to control it, so all we need to do is check with the weather guru's every so often and carry an umbrella when the need arises.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)

Holy crap Pusty, using the bible as a prophecy towards the future should practically be considered witchcraft. That ranks right up there with Nostradamus. The weathers nuts because the bible said so? Wake me when the first born of every household without lambs blood on the door is slain…. or when the armies of the dead number 200 thousand million… or when the angel blow his horn and the seventh seal is….. yawn.

pusty you won't look past the borders of the bible. Do you actually not realize that you are the close-minded one? You tried to explain current weather conditions with a 2000 year old tome of ethical stories.
I am open-minded to well defined logical points. If you cited an article that stated weather patterns were cyclical and this current patch of strange weather was a passing phase I'd read your article and digest its content. If you'd seen a discovery channel documentary that said the worlds climate was warming and causing weather patterns to change because of gulf stream effects I'd watch it.
But you quoted a fictional book of stories written to teach man a lesson on morals. It's not even the farmers almanac, which hey, might actually have detailed data on the weather patterns.

Where in any of that does it discuss a significant increase in catastrophic storms that are killing the lives of many innocent people? Anywhere?

No point being open minded those occultic literature can’t prove a point about weather change. Since Lord Tiberivs beating around the bush without proving it. Did you know Nostradamus at the location causes him to hallucinate to see visions that doesn’t mean he get the true prophecies.
If you think that snow in central Texas is not a problem, then you should go see someone…..i have lived in Texas for most of my life and ive never seen so many days of snow. The snow storm that covered the country effected everyone, i thought i heard there was even snow in San Francisco! And i dont know about you people but ive never heard of a storm about the size of America. The typhoon that hit Austrailia was HUGE! Theres something wrong with the weather patterns. Our planet relies to heavily on oil. Were going to suffer for that if more people dont take action.
