No, but it can certainly increase your odds of finding it.
i used to say no, now i'm not sure. because if i had more money there are lots of things i could do to improve my lifestyle, and yet, i see people like madoff's son who had soooo much money and yet he ended up taking his own life. so to be honest, i;m not sure what the answer is.
There was someone who won many millions of dollars in the California lottery a while back. The reason I know about it is because this person made the news as he was homeless at the time. Six months later this person made the news again, only this time he was flat broke and over three million dollars in debt – and yes, he was homeless again. The last time he was on the news was for his obituary as he committed suicide by jumping in front of a commuter train.
I do not think winning all that money made him happy at all.
However, I still buy the occasional lotto ticket. o.0
I think the answer to the question has been given in the above comments. The answer is simply NO. Of course everyone could do with a little more money (i'm sure even rich people would not turn down an opportunity to make some more). But if you're rich or know someone who is, i'm sure you would agree.
I think the reason is found in the fact that it's just the way the human nature is. Think about it: Have you ever wanted something so much and when you eventually got it, the satisfaction bar raised again? You might think all you need to be happy is 100th of the money Bill Gates has but i reckon after getting that you'd start wondering what the heck is wrong with having just as much as he does! Afterall, he wasn't born with two heads, right?
You can only be happy because you CHOOSE to be happy. If you do not make that decision from the onset and begin taking deliberate steps towards it, you will always find reasons not to be- money can't save you from that.

Not just yet. Perhaps in the future a shot of happy may be purchased. Feelings cannot be bought outright can they? If that were possible I would purchase some despair and slip it to a rival. Sit back and giggle. Then offer him some happiness and I win. Rival defeated and welcome new friend lol .To be rich is a state of mind and wealthy a monetary amount. You could have only a penny to your name and have enough money to buy everything you want. Someone might say that’s a rich frame of mind. You could have all the money in the world and not be able to afford a friend. Someone might say you poor thing.
I know the answer Nabila and it's no.
So when you buy a new car, you're not happy?
Huh?
I just purchased a car this year and i like it. I was more content that it suited my needs than I was happy. I was already happy walking. I saw my car at a dealership and decided that one will do and I bought it. A 2008 Auddi A-6. I had no plans of buying a car when I left my house but I liked the color.
I dont like money even though i have to use it almost everyday. People focus more on money then other things most of the time. The world revolves around money and we need money to do some things that makes us happy, but not all things. The beach, the park, some lakes, taking a hike, riding a bike. But people will do anything to get money these days. If people are doing something fun and its free, someone is going to try and use it to their advantage…money-wise….
