Not in my not-so-humble opinion.

So, what does STS have to say about this? Haven't heard from him in a while.

Self discipline. Those who have mastered the art of self discipline (yes, it IS an art), usually wind up in good control of their future. Only when you control your urges, no matter what those urges may be, can you pay attention to the more important aspects in life. And when you pay attention to the more important things in life, well that just breeds success.

Even though I might agree with TheJared on that, I will have to say that Obama's own record while in office will be his ultimate downfall . . . after all, killing the American economy and racking up more national debt than all other Presidents combined is not the hope and change that the Americans envisioned when they elected him back in 2008.

However, in retrospect - It would be wonderful to have a politician who would speak the truth . . . oh, oops . . . THAT would only happen in a perfect world and only if people were actually perfect in every way. This is not a perfect world and people are not and never will be perfect. So, I guess that all we can do is try to pick the best politician who we think might be able to get the job done - and we MUST remember that "We The People" are the boss of "Them The Politicians" and actually hold "Them The Politicians" accountable for their actions or inactions.

There is a disturbing trend that is showing its ugly head in the schools some of our Grandchildren are attending, and that is most of their studies are done on computers. Why is this disturbing? Not every family can afford to purchase and pay for the cell phone connection to the so-called "smart book" tablet type computers that some of the school districts are now demanding that the students have. This would put public education (which should be free for anyone attending) out of reach to those children of people who are not high-end and have high paying jobs. Also, some school districts are no longer teaching the basic educational skills that are necessary for one to "get along" in a low tech world. Writing skills, basic mathematical skills, and reading comprehension skills are being set aside to make room for high-tech gadgets that emphasize watching video type lessons. These are just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, and are some of the many reasons that most of my children have home-schooled our Grandchildren.
