Yes she did and she deserves to go to jail for it.
In this case we have seen the justice system turned upside down as we did in the O.J. Simpson case, whereas the prosecution thought they had what is known as a "slam-dunk case". They did not. All the evidence produced by the prosecution was circumstantial and not hard. Hard evidence can be classified as DNA tying the accused to the murder scene, eyewitness to the crime, or a signed voluntary confession. The prosecution had none of this to show the jury. In fact, the only reason she was arrested in the first place is because she lied and changed her story too many times.
There will never be anyone held accountable for the murder of Caylee Anthony.
My gut feeling, and gut feelings are not admissible in a court of law, is that she did in fact kill her daughter. The only question in my mind is wether or not it was an accidental death or if she intended to kill the child in the first place.
In all my years in law enforcement I have never seen someone who lied so blatantly not have anything to do with the crime being investigated. I hold the prosecutors at fault for attempting to try a case with so little evidence. Murder does not have a statute of limitation, and these prosecutors needed to have some patience. Lack of patience and reckless behavior in court are what got this murderess acquitted, not her alleged innocence.
