I think they do. Look at McDonalds. We've never been to war with a country that has one of those. They are like peacemakers.
Worst debate ever….
Businesses do not – let me make this perfectly clear that BUSINESSES DO NOT – serve any other purpose than to make money for their owners.
If businesses kept the peace, then WW2 would never have happened.
Now that's not very nice Lord.
I beg to differ, what do you have to say about Vietnam then?
Sorry OReilly… but I yearn for a debate I can get into like the earlier days of this site…
You need to expound upon that question. What I remember of Vietnam has a lot to do with war . . . But then again, there are those who did not think it was a war.
Businesses influence culture. McDonalds brings our culture to others, and countries with a similar culture from us prevent war.
That's because you have nothing to say about it.
You're Canadian right?
No Jared, I live in New York… just. like. you. I was in fact born and raised in the city.
Honestly there is mostly nothing TO say about it. Doesn't anyone remember the old debates on evolution, or the Mayan civilization, or the effects of technology on our society?
Lately the debates have been flat, and mostly only questions of opinion rather than fact.
