No I guess not. How can you believe that there isn't a God? Who created the universe?
Where did we all come from, the toilet store?
To an Atheist, that's like asking "Who cooked this glass of milk." The simple response is, well it wasn't cooked. But I do agree that Atheists don't have souls. I mean saying that Atheists have souls wounds like more of an insult, because it states that they're wrong.
Since I'm not an athiest, I won't venture an opinion….
Hey, I got an idea . . . try googling "Atheist" . . .
I have always wondered how anyone could claim to be an atheist when an true atheist doesn't believe in anything – not even himself.
My not-so-humble opinion.
I think you are confusing nihilism with atheism.
Atheists generally do not acknowledge souls as existing for anyone. Much less themselves.
Metaphysical constructions provide lots of meaningless questions like this. Do you believe in dragons? How about goblins? And so on.
These questions are incomprehensible for the human mind.
From what I've gathered, some do and some don't. It's like asking every Catholic whether or not they attend church on sundays…Some do and some don't. In no way am I likening the depths of the examples, it's just that such a question is personal and philosophical, as well as religious.
To be honest, I really don't care if they do or not.
You need to ask an atheist.
Just my not-so-humble opinion.
The fact of the matter is that everyone is confused about what's going to happen after we die. That's why all these religions are all founded, to give people confidence of what might happen. If everyone knew for sure what's going to happen, we wouldn't have all these religions.
Out of all of them, I think atheism is just the most ignorant and self-centered one of them all. I've seen them. You try to tell them something and they just sit back and say "I need proof".
To me, if you don't believe in a God or god(s), then you cannot possibly have a soul.
How would it be better to guess or pretend to know something than to insist on hard evidence?
Because there is no hard evidence. You will never find it.
As an Agnostic, I don't believe in a soul, so I doubt that an Atheist would, therefor I believe they would agree that they have no soul.
And so this makes your answers better how exactly?
Now that is what I call an agnostic.
If you are so certain of no soul how can you call yourself an agnostic? As an agnostic you should say "a soul can not be proved or disproved so it may or may not exist". Perhaps you are really an atheist?
So what exactly do you believe is making you live right now?
The definition of an Athiest is “the rejection of theism, or the position that deities do not exist In the broadest sense, it is the absence of belief in the existence of deities.”
I call myself an Athiest because I have no God and reject the idea even when looking into it deeper. Since a “soul” is a religious term and I am not religious, that must mean that Athiest do NOT believe they have a soul.
Atheists do not believe having souls, but that does not mean they are denying its existence as far as we are talking about reasonable Atheists.
The notion of denying what you don't see, is just a very stupid argument, and it is refused by the leaders of Atheists.
And for a side note. Many Atheists know about soul, but just refuse to believe in it, without any reason behind of that. They feel it, and know the existence of some soft being in them, but they just try to not use the word "soul". This is a famous behavior of the human being. They love to live the lie.
Those are the Atheists who had some visions about the future (or other manifestations of soul), and watched it happens, and they knew it is there. But they still refuse to call it "Soul".
There universe could have been created by god(s). But there's no way there's an afterlife.
The granola bar I had for breakfast yesterday.
So what exactly goes on then? God is just chilling by himself?
Could be. I have no idea what God does if God exists.
If I were God, I wouldn't create an atheist.
It is possible to be an atheist and believe in the afterlife. What religion calls a soul, an atheist would call energy.
