Yes, it has a bad influence alright. Movies and videos are easily accessible now and will be even more in the future. The youth of this nation are watching more of the TV than our ancestors have many years ago. Now, you can get your messages sent to millions of people by having people who play pretend make a movie that costs millions of dollars. It's amazing when you think about it, 20-50 million dollars for a 90 minute movie.
It depends on what movies people watch. Classic films like Gone With the Wind and Casablanca, in my opinion, have a good influence on people. They both are stories about true love in the face of danger.
But many movies nowadays are just made for money. They are 90 minute blood baths with almost no plot and cheap thrills. This is not how film was intended to be. Film has become a way for people to make money rather than actually entertaining audiences.

i think that the have a postive influence on people because you can relate to it and see what will happen if you do something. so it influences the choices we make by understanding the conquences of something bad so they dnt read it in real life
