When we think about them or when we see them for the last time in the cascet. Even our ancestors that we have never met. I think about my Super great grandmother that traveled on one of the ships that traveled with the May Flower and that affects me a whole lot telling me that one of my ancestors was there on the day of the first thanksgiving! That being said, yes, I do believe that there is an afterlife and certainly there will be consequences for our actions while we are here.
