ok first off who are you to say that video games cause violent behavior its not the video games that cause the violence its the person playing it. only very aggresive people who play violent video games have violent behavior, you need to start doing research before accusing video games of causing violent behavior

With certain people it can. I have played violent video games but i know how to keep my cool. Other people that cant keep their violence under control might have a weaker state of mind and obviously need to have their video games taken away. I just think that life would be better without video games all together. Even though i am a video game fanatic myself to a certain extent, I really wish that some super natural force or something like that would get rid of my interest of video games because it does no good for me to be inside on a perfectly nice day playing with a piece of plastic staring at a virtual world shooting fictional characters from probably someone in china.

There is no doubt in my mind that if a young child, who is still developing their moral compass, were to be exposed to an M rated game that there would be negative setbacks to them because if while you are learning what is right and wrong you are shooting police officers, trafficking drugs, banging prostitutes, and buying guns then you might not have the greatest set of morals or thoughts. But that is where the parents come in. If a parent is just going to stand idle and not tell their kids that what they are doing is not morally right then they have no right to complain about video games tainting their children. The child most likely did not buy the M rated game themselves so it had to make its way into the house another way which is most likely the parent. The video game developers did not make M rated games for little kids, it is intended for mature audiences.

One thing that I want to say is most parents do their jod. But sometimes it the children friends that have the games becuae those children parents let them get the games and sometimes parents don't know. Violent does not just come from games, it's also movies, tv shows, music, internet, and environment.

In my opion I don't think video games are violent.I have a 15yr old and 17yr old that is always playing with violent video games. And not ones have I had trouble with them. Other than they don't like for me to interrupt will playing. My kids see this violent games educating. It keeps them out of trouble to where there not on the streets. And it helps them think twice on the choices they make in life. By watching what there play.Violence is all over the world. We don't need to play violent video games to become violent. We become violent cause that's what we choice.
