I believe it does. They have labs and stuff like that which actually just concentrates on the effects of alcohol causing cancer.
No, I don't think it does. They have labs and stuff trying to link everything with cancer. I doubt you will find one here.
i wouldn't be so sure to assume that right away.
I am an alcoholic. I have been sober for 23 years now. Right now I am sober.
I do not have cancer. I have never had cancer.
When I was drinking, I drank anything with alcohol in it, and I also smoked up to four packs of regular Camel (unfiltered) cigarettes a day.
There have been studies that have linked certain DNA traits to those who have a propensity to contract cancer. I do not have that DNA trait.
That's about all that I can contribute to this debate.
Just my not-so-humble opinion.
There are many laboratories that study alcohol's effects on cancer, tumor growth, and even carcinoma inhibition. However, the results are almost always inconclusive. Only 10% of what one reads in scholarly journals is actually correct, and unfortunately the media will often take a solitary published finding and feed it to viewers as an undeniable truth.
Thanks for sharing that with us papadawg. Alcohol definitely is a problem with society. I barely drink, because I know the effects that it actually has on some people. I think a major part of that is that it's socially acceptable. This goes way back to smoking. Most people don't even know the effects that alcohol has on their system. They say a little bit is okay, but too much really does some damage and I don't think most people realize that.
Alcohol encourages the growth of epstien barr virus, which nearly everyone has. this causes cancer.
