Is Area 51 engaging in reverse engineering of extraterrestrial aircrafts and technology?

I think they are just working on making missiles and aircrafts and stuff and not caring what other people say about this whole extraterrestrial crap.

Unfortunately, the UFO wacko's in this country believe that we have captured a crashed UFO at Roswell, NM. That just isn't the case.
Bear with me on this, folks . . . PLEASE!
If there were a UFO crashed at Roswell way back in 1947, it would have been recovered by the folks who built/operated it a very long time ago – and that event would NOT have been a secret at all.
As for Area 51. After WW2, the Air Force Flight Test Center at Muroc Dry Lake in southern California became too well-known throughout the world – and especially the KGB. Therefore we had to find somewhere else to flight test our new aircraft technology that was not on the KGB must watch list and a base was built at the northern end of a bombing range in Nevada known on military maps as "Area 51". To help keep this place a secret, the only way in or out was by air – in other words there are absolutely no roads leading in or out of the place, paved or otherwise. The military intelligence community planted the story that the apparent construction of what looked like runways and hangers were in fact mock-ups for high altitude bombing practice for a new bomb sight that was to be employed by our new supersonic bombers – like the B-58 Hustler. The KGB bought it hook, line, and sinker. However the UFO fanatics, after the crash of one of the "Have-Blue" aircraft (the test vehicle for the F-117 Stealth fighter/bomber project) jumped on the flying saucer retro-engineering theory like gangbusters and have not let go, even to this day after all the secrecy about the F-117 was declassified.
All of the information contained in this post was declassified years ago, and I do mean MANY years ago.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)

From what I've gathered from research, it is most likely a base where the military is testing new types of aircraft.
