Yes, to block out all the bad stuff.
What "bad stuff" are you talking about?
NO!
How many times must you be told the same answer to the same question.
No matter how you pose that question, the answer will always be the same; GOVERNMENT INDUCED CENSORSHIP IS A BAD THING AND SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!!
Hey devil dog… let me add a big "Who Cares" about censorship in a democracy. The United States of America isn't a democracy. It is a REPUBLIC, albeit a democratic republic, a republic nonetheless. The Founding Fathers feared democracy… which is nothing more than two wolves and a sheep trying to decide what is for dinner. Majority rule isn't what the US is about. Its a nation of LAWS, so as to protect the minority.
As far as censorship in the USA, a democratic REPUBLIC… we MUST look to the law of the land i.e., The Constitution of the United States… which you and I were fortunate to take an OATH to support and defend. I only hope our current military rank and file understand where the loyalty should be …. to the Constitution and not to the higher ranking officers. Our soldiers need to understand they DO NOT AND SHOULD NOT FOLLOW ANY ORDER IN CONTRAST TO THE LAW OF THE LAND… THE CONSTITUTION.
I was appalled to learn the military had worked hand in hand with law enforcement during Hurricane Katrina to "DISARM" the citizens who were only protecting their property from looters. This was unconstitutional and they should NOT have followed such an order.
I welcome your reply. And, as far as "The Jared" is concerned… obviously a dumb a$$ liberal who enjoys the freedom which those like us provide for and his kind have always been part of the problem, and never part of the solution. Nuff said.
After Katrina, there arose an entity known now as "Oath Keepers" . . .
We are active duty, retired and former military, police and others who have signed on as men and women who will NEVER take up arms against the American people. We have re-asserted that oath we once took in our youth to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.
How about you?
I support Oath Keepers and Sheriff Mack. I think we have a real martyr in Judge John Roll for his decisions which helped springboard Sheriff Mack to his Supreme Court victory. My loyalty is to the Constitution of the United States.
I don't even care what he thinks is "bad stuff", I'm wondering which state quarter he's using to decide what to post on this topic.
Censorship is Is necessary in a Democratic because it allows ****** to avoid ******* *** ******* ******** **** ** *** **** for ****, and ******** *** children from **** **** **** *** *** ***** to be ******* ** *******. So clearly ******** *** ***** **** censorship is necessary in a Democracy.
What I found more disturbing was the use of "third party" security teams to disarm American citizens. Also disturbing was the report about American National Guard teams that were stopped cold in their tracks upon entering wealthy residences whose tenants hired and maintained use of prior isreali special forces who were immune to the order of disarmament. To whom are they loyal??? Disarmament is censorship and the practical application of it in a Democratic society is questionable.
