Anything is impossible…….except for this one. They are useless. It's going to take thousands of years just for them to even know what a democracy is.
Technically they HAVE a democracy over there. Quality of life isn't up to our standards, but when you compare it to their neighbors…..
A democracy is basically anarchy. They have that anyway.
I think Jason meant a successful democracy. You can have one officially, but that doesn't mean that they actually have one.
I don't think you understand what I said. Democracy is "government by the people; especially : rule of the majority." It is basically glorified anarchy. There is no such thing as a 'succesful democracy', because democracy is mob rule, which never goes well.
What we have in America is a Constitutional Republic. If you want to institute a Constitutional Republic in Iraq, feel free, but let's not give them democracy- which they have anyway.

We do not have mob rule in this country. We have a Constitution and we elect our officials as representatives of us. They must govern according to the Constitution that limits their power over us.
