No, it's not right.
It is not profitable without substantial government subsidies and regulatory support. So not in terms of whether it makes economic sense, no.
Though this is true of several forms of energy production and pretty much all forms of energy generation are propped up by subsidies as it is already.
As to any other reasons to oppose nuclear power generation, I can't think of any which are valid.
But what makes it wrong?
Nuclear generated electrical power could be the most economical form of power generation, however in this country (USA) the NRC has put a death dealing restriction on the nuclear power plants in that they cannot be built to be able to refurbish spent fuel rods. Under NRC regulations a nuclear fuel rod can only be used once and then discarded. Technology today is being wasted on stupid political rules that do nothing but cost the average American more money than our government is actually worth.

I know that this is one great idea, however here in the USA the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will never allow it to happen simply because the NRC is run by the "we will all glow in the dark" paranoid idiots!
