Yes. If you set your mind to it and dedicate your life to it, then yes.
No, not everything. The reality of life is that every thing (including us Humans) is in a constant state of flux (change) so that nothing remains the same.
If everything in life was truly possible, then I would be in perfect health and I would never age and live forever. Even Jack Lallain (sp) with all his healthy eating and regimented workouts couldn't prevent aging and eventually dying.
Do not believe for one instant that all things are attainable in ones own lifetime, they just are not. Even Dr. Gatlin found out that no matter how hard you try, some things just cannot be prevented – like war. He invented the most terrible weapon of war of his era (the Gatlin gun), yet war rages on to this day. All Dr. Gatlin wanted was everlasting peace.
Alfred Nobel, for whom the Nobel Peace Prize is named after, invented a way to make Nitro Glycerin safer to use and transport by making it into dynamite . . . Which has been the base to more bombs than anything else ever made.
Dr. Werner Von Braun just wanted to find a way for man to get into space, yet his rocket engines have powered the most destructive weapons ever known to mankind as of this date. We did use them to go to the Moon, but we have never been back – Now that is really sad. I fear that before we begin to explore the Universe, Dr. Von Braun's technology will be used in many more wars than for peaceful uses.
No, not everything in life is truly possible. However, a lot of things are. I just hope and pray that someday we will all know everlasting peace and that we do end up exploring this vast Universe of ours . . . . .
