At almost $2,000.00 an ounce, Gold is still the rarest and most valuable of all the natural rare metals.
Platinum is still higher in value, and it tends to be a more stable "higher." Gold has only recently gotten anywhere near it in price. About a month ago it wasn't in the same league.
