Alot of younger people are advocating the legalization of marijuana, stating its passive effects on the body compared even to moderate cigarette smoking and drinking. I personally think it could bring in alot of extra tax money, and put a legalized stop to shady dealers on the streets. But thats another debate. However, they sometimes make the drug industry research and development costs go through the roof and that is more often than not passed on to the consumer - unfortunately most people who use those drugs are senior citizens who can little afford to pay those costs.
