Not necessarily. By definition, this would mean that only a few individuals controlled the entire media. Hence, this few would be . . . Who?
As it is, certain political influences seem to have the media in their hip pockets. This is the very thing that is killing the newspaper business and mainstream TV news. People just do not want to be force fed their political opinions.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
Of course it is. It is all about money and ratings. The people in charge couldn't care less if we actually getting good information.
