It makes sense when you think about it. Same exact concept, but hidden behind a lot of things.
The Ponzi, or Pyramid, scheme is based on the spreading out of investors putting in an exact amount and then continuing indefinately.
The stock market that I invested in worked as an increase as the value of the stock increased. I still own stock in a few large corporations such as IBM and Boeing.
The annual dividends supplement my 401-K's and Roth IRA's.
If you invest in high risk stocks, you are bound to lose eventually. The wise investor buys slow but steady growth stocks.
Just my not-so-humble opinion.
Yea, but when you have a big-time investor who comes in and starts buying stocks, and have the media on your side, the stock price is going to rise. Stocks go up based on the news, and the big-time investor, can just pull right out and make a fortune.
Corporations are the scheme. Individuals can build private wealth while avoiding personal liability. Wall street can't help but be a fraud because it's built on the dishonest conecpt of corporations as a premise.
Hidden is the key term there.
As long as you believe that Communism is better than Capitalism, you are doomed to never understand the concept of investing in your future.
