China, Iran, Saudi Arabia . . . . . . . . . . . How's that for starters?
In what way?
China is dependent on us for trade and has no global ambitions (and could be checked by the USN and USAF alone even if they did) and no regional ambitions other than Taiwan which might butt up against ours, Iran would be destroyed if they attacked us (hell they'd be destroyed if they attacked Israel and we somehow sat on the sidelines instead of obeyed our foreign lobbies…and they know it) and Saudi Arabia is dependent on us for military foreign aid to the tune of several billions of dollars per year. Try again.
What people are talking about scrapping free markets?
… or more significantly, in what way did we have free markets in the places being scrapped? When 50% of the medical costs in the country are and were already spent by government, we're pretty far from a free market on health care as it is.
