I believe it is. It has actually predicted some major events.
I figured that you would believe it.
When I was a kid (I am well into my sixties now), I read all about those who predict the future. This includes the so-called "numerologists" and even the crystal ball reading Gypsies and even the (in)famous Nostradamus. (FYI – I had learned to read by the time I was four years old)
I have yet to see any real solidity to their so-called predictions that were supposed to have come true.
After the JFK assassination the newspapers and television stations were full of all kinds of things about how it was predicted by those who could see into the future. My question was then, and still is now; If those folks could see into the future and know that JFK would be shot, then why didn't they tell the secret service? Why do they always show up AFTER the event and say "I knew it would happen!"?
If these guys are so good at predicting the future, then tell me if and when I will win the multi-state lotto. Because THAT would be a financial disaster of biblical proportions!
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
Predicting one event correctly after predicting eight events which never happened isn't predicting the future – it's just guessing erratically.
"Even fools are right some of the time"
- Winston Churchill
Why do they always show up AFTER the event and say "I knew it would happen!"?
Exactly!
