I believe so. I don't care if there is a judicial system of checks and balances. Over the years, that system has been so corrupted, that we need to create a new organization that will actually monitor politicians and all of their actions.
No they should not, let them do what they want.
'We the People' ARE the outside organization. In essence, the People are the government, and hence are the ultimate check and balance. The problem is, the People aren't doing their job anymore, partly because they aren't making an effort to keep themselves informed of different issues- they stay abreast of one or two issues, if that. Generally, election time is the only time they really get involved. That's what needs to happen, not the creation of another 'govwatch'.
When I said that in the last part, I meant that the American people need to get informed. Sorry. >.<
That was my first thought too. Yes they should be watched, by US, the citizens they govern!
Outside organizations, and everybody, should be watching politicians. I don't trust any of them. When was the last time a politician told the truth about anything?
Aside from "We The People", another organization already does exist. It's called The Council on Foreign Relations. They have in fact been around for more than 8 decades and not only oversee politicians but own them as well. Amongst it's ranks are Republicans, Democrats, top military brass, bankers, academic scholars and media moguls. Do a search and see for yourself who really calls the shots.

That's why you have leaders to begin with, because everyone is lazy. If we lived in a society where everyone was responsible, then we wouldn't need leaders.
People aren't doing their job so we should definitely set up a organization to spy on them.
