I agree with you. Although they don't have any real area to roam, they generally are pampered, always have food and do not have to worry about much.
It is also great for kids to see and learn from.
Animals properly cared for in Zoo's usually live a longer and healthier life than those in the wild, and they also allow those of us who have never been to the wilds a chance to see those animals with our own eyes.
Zoo's allow children to see the animals as they really are instead of just what they see them as in children's cartoons.

Yea but animals like sharks don't survive while being in captivity. Some species don't fit in.

No because animals have the same rights as humans they dont get respected enough to get them tho
A zoo is an enviorment not like real life so you teach the animal everything is going to be brought to them and they will die when they were released and the zoo said its ok we released them well they cant take back the damage that already happend
I disagree with you. Just because we benefit from zoos does not mean that animals will. Before humans came to existence or interfere with the animals natural habitats no animal was endanger of becoming extinct. Think about it why are pandas in danger because we destroyed their habitats. We are the reason for why so many animals are dying
Not true. The dinosaur. Heh. According to the evolutionary model, we weren't around. And they're extinct. All sorts of animals have gone extinct without human interference.
we should not keep animals in zoos or cage because some animals has to be in their environment like birds. if we put birds in cage they can,t fly and their wings will be locked.
They should be kept in zoos because if they are in zoo’s they will be safe. If they will be in the zoo they will not get the proper treatment if they are injured or wounded.they are not given proper food.
If they will be in the jungle they will get good food and they will not miss there habitat.
