Yes. I know some of them do, but the bigger-ones, the large chains, don't even care.
It is interesting that you have this up today. I was just talking about this over lunch. The Washington Post recently did a editorial on this topic.
Mind you, I have no issue with this being done. My issue is what the item that they chose to use as an example.
Deep Fried Macroni and Cheese from the Cheesecake Factory.
How could anyone think that something like that menu item would be good for you? It seems to me, if someone doesn't realize that is not good for you, the problem is much bigger than the menu.
Jason, I would love to do some link exchanges with you. Just let me know what you would like to link up.
Conservative Girl.
Yea, but if you were to place nutrition facts, then you would become aware of how unhealthy it really is for you. We all have those moments when we seem to let it just slip our minds.
Thanks for the kind words Jason. I added you to my blogroll.
We don't want to be living in a communist society.
Nice post. Some people actually read the nutritional facts. In the places they have them, they make it so that everything looks so innocent and attractive as if you're saving the world by eating junkfood.
Nah i don't care, people know why they are already getting themselves into.
Sure, why not, you see it on everything you buy at the grocery store, why not at fast food places.
BTW, Jason, I like your site.
Yes, all fast-food places should post nutrition facts. Everything is a business, and when you are in charge of a company, after a while, you don't look at the customers as people. You look at consumers as walking zombies, totally ignoring their health and their emotions. When you aren't there to experience what happens when things go wrong, you don't fully understand the impact of your actions. United States is the most obese country for a reason.
They should post nutrition facts, and they should be closely monitored.
