Yes. I don't want my future children and my family living near a sex offender I don't know about.
Only if we notify communities when any former criminal moves in ! Singling out one group of offenders is insane, in effective, and unconstitutional. It also unduly causes hysteria in a neighborhood when 95% of sex offenses are committed by family and acquaintances.
Passively yes. Have a list up for people to look at, but don't go door to door telling people. The information should be easily available to anyone who wants it, but no need to actively push it in people's faces. Also, it should contain the details of their crime, as there are a lot of people who are technical sex offenders but who really just slept with a 16 year old they thought was legal or something like that.
Agree with you there, we need to follow the law. I am not opposed to taking this to court to change, but we cannot just make exceptions for sex offenders and no other criminals.
Oh, by all means let's point out the sex offender to the general public after we let them out of their sequestered cell in prison.
Just why would we want to let everyone else know – and have a shot at them – after we spent all that tax money protecting them while in prison?

YES! It is clear that some criminals are not only different than others but some tend to repeat offend and pose a more serious threat, than others do. We must look out of the children!

i8 think we should notify Everybody…….flyer in thier face notify …im haveing a child and i want to know who has that record and lives mear me..ppl should more more educated on how to find that info! also i agree the details should be included because im not going to worry so much if a 19 yr old sleeps with a 16 yr old who consented lied about her age and parents flipped out like i would if some 30 yr old touched a 9 yr old
