Yes. They are products after-all and I also like to question how "natural" they really are.
If it grows and isn't processed then I don't want the government regulating it. Not that they don't (they do) or that I'll get what I want. But quite frankly the term 'natural' might become vague and useless with the genetic engineering we're doing to plants.
I like the usual story about how unpasteurized milk must be labeled as "artificial".
So no.
I find it somewhat comical how some products are labeled "organic" – (supposedly depicting that they are organically grown and not having pesticides used on them . . . then for all that we must pay a higher price for something that was produced with less care) – without any proof of how it was treated during the time it was being grown.
Natural dietary supplements – aka vitamins and minerals – seem to be keeping me and mine a bit healthier than our neighbors who do not partake of them. Proof enough for me, thanks to AMWAY.
I vote no on regulation as all that does is line another corrupt politicians pocket – and I have had my fill of that!
The question is not should they be regulated but how much money stands too made off of regulating it. At least that’s what the people that want to impose the regulations are asking. Make no mistake there already are "natural" things that are regulated. Marijuana is natural but for various reasons it’s regulated already. So these other “naturals” if they were really a danger or the cause real fear they would already be regulated. Wouldn’t they? Water is Natural and if you drink more of it faster than your body can process and eliminate you will die. Imagine that sales pitch (Drug man: I got that good stuff right here. That H2O that’ll make you go! )
