There is way too much more spent on the elderly.
Yea. They get everything served on a silver platter.
That' because the elderly have the right to vote and children don't.
Only if a greater return is guaranteed… throwing money at a problem doesn't solve anything…

Government should only be taxed with providing a basic K-12 education – all else is the responsibility of the parents.
As far as us elderly are concerned – we have WORKED all our lives for what we have now . . . Just as you should be doing now.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
And that's because adults pay taxes and minors don't.
Well, the elderly are adults, but they don't need as much money as the younger adults, or the middle-age people.
Of course they need just as much money. They need to feed themselves. They are more vulnerable to disease and injury.
