I believe the question that is actually being asked here is "Should people be allowed to pray in public schools?" My answer is Yes. My reasons A) Does it hurt anyone? The answer is No, unless of course you think it is ridiculous and you let it bother you, and then, my friend, that's on you. B) Not allowing people to pray in schools is strictly unconstitutional. (Freedom of Religion, and Freedom of Speech) C) I do believe however, that Religion should not be taught in the education system,; However, I believe that if someone is forced to go to school for 180 days a year, that they should be able to handle their Religious Duties or activities at School, so long that they don't hurt others and they fall within certain guidlines D) Since when does bowing slightly, putting your hands together, and saying some words (or even thinking them in your head.) Hurt anyone... unless of course you are bowed with your hands together disrupting class by yelling obscenities. I believe this is a bit of an aggressive argument .

Prayer, while shared by many people, is not shared by all people. It has no place in public schools. Arguing otherwise means you believe religion should be encouraged and endorsed by government, which would be against the constitution. Prayer cannot be reduced to "well it doesn't hurt anybody". It is not a part of everyone's life and has no place in secular education. American public schools are secular institutions by design.
