Umm honestly, do you have a very deep hatred for Islam and Muslims?
After reading your comment, I felt last night's lasanga coming out

- Who do YOU think you are to judge whether someone does or does not have the right to live?
- Do you think every Muslim is a terrorist? How can you judge innocent people?
- Hah. If you hate the 'murderous cult of Islam' so effing much, why don't you start something then, eh? Just like the KKK, except for your deep hatred towards Muslims.

Why? What's wrong with a hijab or niqab? There are reasons why they shouldn't be required to be worn I think and that women who refuse to wear them should have this decision respected in accordance with their individual autonomy, but I cannot think of a reason why they should be equally banned or restricted.

In France, it is viewed as a religious symbol and so along with everything else, it comes under the ban. The bigger question here is should religious symbols be banned in the first place. Personally, i'm quite relaxed about it.
