Probably should just be rebuilt.
That is solely up to the Haitians.
If they had used proper building techniques and materials in the first place, they most likely would not have as serious of a problem as they have.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
I heard that it would be better to move for certain reasons regarding quakes in the future, but that wouldn't make sense if they just built better structures.
I can't stand people who say that. It's up to the people. You know, in some countries, the people can't even handle themselves. Look at China and North Korea, the government, those greedy elite few, are tracking their citizens' reading material on the Internet?
Google is packing up and leaving. If you typed in liberty and freedom in a search engine in one of those countries, and many others around the world, you'll get an error message.
It's up to the United States where the capital should be rebuilt. End of story.
Neither. I think it's a very realistic representation of the country in its current form and local.
Jared,
Get this through your thick skull – THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOT THE ENTIRE WORLDS BABYSITTER!
We are not the "world police", we do not dictate to other countries how they should treat their people!
When will you grow up?
I am grown up, and I know that we need to protect our freedom from other countries' leaders.
Wait – the US's freedom relies on having to control others freedom?
And how does the US choosing where the capital will be built be any better than the decision made by the Haitians?
