They should keep it banned because I don't trust its safety, and simply its annoying to other passengers.
Agreed, plus my reception is crap during a Trans-Atlantic flight.
Yea but some people need to make important phone calls.
They should do it before the flight then.
It would be.
Yea but it really depends on your profession. Sometimes, you have to constantly be on the phone if you are president of a company or something.
Sarcasm Sal, sarcasm.
No I was just agreeing with you.
Well that is their problem, not mine! My friend Ian would say something similar.
Dudes I heard the plane can crash with a phone call. Is this true?
If you need to make calls on a trans-oceanic flight, then pick an airline like Quantas that has a satellite phone system in their first class area.
If you are so important that you have to make those kind of phone calls, then you have the bucks to fly first class.
Oh, and BTW for Flacco, in the entire history of civil aviation there has never been an airliner crash caused by a cell phone. The reason they ask you to turn off your cell phones on airlines is that your little cell phone just does not have the battery power to reach that tower that is going past at Mach 0.8 over 30,000 feet below you.
Just my not-so-humble opinion.
Yea. So all we have to do to eliminate this problem is to make a phone call $5.00 or something on the flight. This eliminates ridiculous calls made, and only for emergencies.
Oh ok so then that that was just a rumor made up by people I guess.
So let's make it 100 dollars for a phone call! Haha
Sounds simple enough.
If you can afford an extra $100.00 for those kinda first class seats, well then what’s another $5.00 a minute for a phone call or two?
Get my drift?
Unless you are on a flight longer than three hours, I think in-flight calls should be banned.
