I believe it is time.
I agree
Why should we exactly?
The cold war is over, and we no longer need these restrictions for defense reasons. Embargo supporters wrongly assume that this ban is necessary for diplomacy, while in reality, the Cuban government pays it no regard at all.
Why should we support a dictatorial government? Is it because ours is beginning to turn that way?
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
Absolutely, Cuban people love America.
no they dont. though i dont think its very fair, and it doesnt make much sense, people seem to hng on to the past and focus their lives on aviding i, espescially when it comes to entire nations. plus when the rich, mean (not refering to ALL of them) Americans had "control" over cuba, thinds were bad. girls were made into prostitutes and men were made into servents. when communism came along, thigs became alot better. though they werent ideal, it was still BETTER.
Supporting the ban on Cuban travel is like carrying out nonsensical family traditions that is done for no other reason than because "it has always been done" Why are we willing to normalize relations with Vietnam and China, but not Cuba?
