What ever happened to one being responsible for oneself? Why does everyone want to tax everything that tastes good and call it a "sin tax"?????? I just don't get it, I mean what are you going to tax next - - - the air we breath? Oops, my bad, I forgot about the "Carbon Cap Tax" in the cap & trade bill now being shoved up our collective . . . er . . . being shoved through congress as I write these words. I almost forgaot what it is that we Humans exhale. Does ANYBODY get my drift? Here we go with "Big Brotherism" again!?!

This after most restaurants are already starting to cut back their trans fat/oil usage, because the consumer wants it. Things like this, be it an outright outlawing or a tax, are insulting. It's basically the government saying "You're too stupid to make choices for yourself, so we'll just make them for you." How degrading. I don't agree with cigarette taxes either. The government should not be doing anything to regulate behavior, especially profiting from the regulation!
