I don't think so, unless there's some proof that they could be useful to help benefit us humans. A lot of the species are endangered though, so I guess it wouldn't be a good idea.

Well, according to the native Alaskans, blubber is good food and the whale bones are usefull in making all sorts of things. So, just what kind of research would you be using them for?
