I believe that this topic would spark a very good debate in light of our government trying to manage our lives from the cradle to the grave.

I like where you're going with this. This is a very important topic to discuss. If you want to target specifically the government attempting to controlling our lives, maybe we should have a topic like this, "Should the government have any control over our lives?"

If you mean something more than just the government, let me know and we can come up with a debate topic that is a little bit broader, like the one you have suggested.

I happen to like the title that I suggested – However, we could broaden it a bit with a sub-question like "Would YOU want the government to decide when YOUR life is over and done with?"

I seem to recall something about "end of life issues" included in the nationalization debates of our health care options and system. I also remember our currant President saying at a news conference that the "elderly" need to realize that their productive life is over – or something to that effect, and I remember thinking that "This is called retirement!" Over the decades of my lifetime I have begun to notice that what used to be considered sacred in this country – children, babies, life itself – is being pushed into the background more and more. That is why I suggested the debate that I did.

Why should science remain severed from religion? Should it not? What would the Founding Fathers think of America now? Should schools on any level have different classrooms for different learning styles? Should it be mandated that no fetus be aborted due to it's, or it's parents' mental orientation? Should normal or any children be removed from a neurodivergent parent's household? Thanks.
