What was blatant? They've actually complied with IAEA requirements on enrichment and reporting of facilities to this point. Since they are not a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty, they are not even required to do that.

They've talked about doing more annoying and possibly dangerous things like weaponizing the uranium (which is distinct, although slightly from mere enrichment activity). But no serious energy or nuclear analyst thinks they're anywhere near accomplishing any of them because of technical and scientific capacities that they lack even to do basic enrichment that they claim they want for energy purposes. And they'd still have to carry them out in the face of international scrutiny and intelligence gathering.

The United Nations is the most impotent useless body of politic ever devised by mankind, full of corruption and criminal activities at all levels within itself.

The United nations can and will do absolutely nothing about Iran, then blame its failure to act on the United States and then Barack Hussein Obama will go forth and apologize to the entire world because of the United Nations failure.

Just my pessimistic not-so-humble opinion. B)

I'm not sure what they can do but I am sick and tired of hearing about blatant acts such as this that are committed without any repercussions.
