Mario Cuomo.
Jared.
He would make a perfect governor for that state . . . . . . Then again, maybe not o.0
On a more serious note, it will be whomever can manipulate the voting public the most.
Just my not-so-humble opinion. B)
lol, I'd probably be the perfect governor for your state, since nothing really goes on down there.
I assume you mean Andrew Cuomo. Mario isn't running.
On a person note, I'm actually seeking the Libertarian Party's nomination for Lt. Governor.

No, I'm not joking.
Cool!!
Shirley, you jest!
You run a blog that no one can comment on what you post there, and as a result of all that nonsense you expect to be Lt. Governor?
Uh-huh. And yesterday I flapped my arms and flew to the moon o.0
There's something of a tight race developing for the gubernatorial nomination though. There's a Manhattan and an Albany debate session coming up (I'll be at the Albany one, though the Manhattan session is focused more in other races.) Cuomo may be the next governor, but he's not getting it without a fight.
Umm comments are disabled. But I've been actively seeking out the Libertarian nomination for a while now and have been to several events and given speeches regarding my candidacy. If you were an active member of the New York state Libertarian Party you'd surely have heard of me. Besides, we are talking about Lt Governor here. Most people in New York don't even know who Richard Ravitch is (never mind that they never voted for him.) You'd be surprised by some of the awesome ideas coming out of the LIbertarian Party. Carl Person is a man to watch (would be an excellent Attorney General.) Nobody's put their campaign into high gear because at this point everyone's seeking their party's nomination first.
He'll need it. I don't think the LP has crossed the 50k votes barrier that NY puts on to fortify the entrenched political parties in power yet (similar to the federal electoral limitations that keep the third parties out of public view, excluding them from debates for example).
They will probably do relatively well this year though. They usually do when the Republican party is weak and feckless as it appears to be right now. (And they got slaughtered when Pataki ran and won 3 terms).
Indeed, indeed. It's scary how much the two major parties have managed to entrench themselves. >.>
(y) Fight is good.
LOL I'll be crossing my fingers for you.
Just so you know, I did not win the nomination. Oh well, them's the breaks.
Andrew Cuomo
