This time TheJared is right. The cost of a text reader varies from $98.00 to $298.00 depending on what features you want it to have. Back in my college days a scientific calculator cost around $150.00 and that thing was required for certain classes. Today notebook computers are a must for college students and they can cost up to $1500.00 and as low as $500.00. Add a textbook reader to that and then do the math as not only the reader costs $$, but the textbook also costs $$ and you now have a $$ nightmare for the students.
