This is ridiculous….. I would like to turn your thoughts to the 700+ year period called the Dark Ages, where the church basically mandated that scientific thought and revolution was heretical…. You want to live like that again? Toothless and middle aged at 26? Ancient at 40? Science is all we have sometimes.
The robot is basing its opinion on a movie and the public's insatiable appetite to be fed the idea that science and technology is dangerous and only they are great and noble enough to restrain our evil genius and throw their shoes into the infernal machines?
