I suppose if they gathered up all their sticks and stones, and maybe fed their people enough to throw said stones and swing said sticks they could at least last as long as it took for them to drown in the ocean on the way here….. no… we won't be attacked by North Korea. They haven't got the capabilities of successfully landing an army hear, nor the air power capable of landing a bomber/missile attack on our territory. Though they may well attack South Korea in the hopes of forcing us to come to them and fighting in their own backyard…

"ever" might leave open the possibility for an affirmative answer, in a world where the US has far diminished power and regional influence and the DPRK somehow increases its own.
But that possibility based on realistic current conditions is so remote that this question has to be a joke.
Not unless they want something. Theres always a path around the start of a war. If North Korea ever nuked us, they would shurely lose because Russia and America would both go at them with full force. The cold war Officially ended in 9/11 when the Russian president phoned the American presidents Seceretary and asked if we needed help. So Russia WOULD help, plus other countries would be affected if America was "injured" because in the Great depression America was a major….Piece to the world that kept the world running. When America fell, the other countries fell. So other countries cant really go on without us because we buy more stuff from other countries then the countries themselves. And if Korea tried to invade our homeland they wouldnt succeed either because we have Rednecks here with big guns that will fight for their right to live and be free. North Korean Citizens cant own a weapon…..much less Pistol so any attack would be futile.
They dont have the resources for a long term war.
I believe China would never allow them too.
Though there would be short term chaos the chances of the North winning is nil and China would never allow the South to be so close to it’s boarders- China would invade the North first just to stop the South from advancing.
It would be like someone hitting a gang member and hurting him really bad but then the entire gang going back at him.
